A.C. Martin, Et. Als.

  THIS DEED, made on this the 29th day of October, 1962, by and between A.C. 
MARTIN and SHIRLEY S MARTIN, his wife, AMOS L. MARTIN and NEVA S. MARTIN, his 
wife, and HALLIE M. LAWSON and HENRY R. LAWSON, her husband, sole heirs at law 
of Charlie B. Martin, deceased, parties of the first part, and C. WOODROW 
PILSON, party of the second part;

                              W I T N E S S E T H:
  THAT FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of Ten ($10) Dollars, cash in hand 
paid, and other good and valuable considerations, the receipt of all of which is 
hereby acknowledged by the parties of the first part upon the execution and 
delivery of this deed, the said parties of the first part do hereby bargain and 
sell, grant and convey unto the said party of the second part with General 
Warranty of Title, all of the following described tracts or parcels of real 
estate, lying and being in Smith River Magisterial District of Patrick County, 
Virginia, and described as follows:

  All of those certain lots or parcels of land known as Heidelbach School, and 
being situate in Patrick County, Virginia, and being the same property acquired 
by the Trustees of the Ferrum Training School by the following deeds;

  (a) Deed dated on the 15th day of January, 1922, from J.L.Wood and wife, to 
the said Trustees of the Ferrum Training School, which deed was duly admitted to 
record in the Clerk's Office of Patrick County, Virginia, on the 28th day of 
January, 1922.
  (b)  That property conveyed to the Trustees of the Ferrum Training School by 
deed dated on the 15th day of January, 1922, by S.L. Turner and wife, which said 
deed was duly admitted to record in the Clerk's Office of Patrick County, 
Virginia, on the 28th day of January, 1922.
  (c) That certain property property conveyed to the Trustees of the Ferrum 
Training School, Inc., by deed dated 15th day of January, 1922, from H.T. Foley 
and wife, which deed was duly admitted to record in the Clerk's Office of 
Patrick County, Virginia, and which conveyed 1 1/2 acres of real estate.
  These are the same and identical tracts of land shows as Tract No. 3 in a 
conveyance dated the 25th day of August, 1943 to the Patrick County School Board 
by the Ferrum Training School, Inc., and of record in Deed Book 79, pages 265 
and 266 of the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Patrick County, Virginia, 
and being the same and identical three tracts or parcels of land conveyed to 
C.B. Martin, deceased, by a deed dated October 6, 1955, from Ella R. Martin, and 
of record in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Patrick County, 
Virginia, in Deed Book 108, page 121.
  Reference is hereby expressly made to the aforementioned deeds for a more 
particular description and derivation of title of the lands hereby conveyed.
  The parties of the first part hereby covenants that they have a right to 
convey the aforesaid lands to the party of the second part, that they, the said 
parties of the first part, have done no act to encumber the said lands; that he, 
the said party of the second part, shall have quiet and peaceable possession of 
the said lands, free from all liens and encumbrances; and that they, the said 
parties of the first part, will give such further assurances of the said lands 
as may be requisite.

COUNTY OF PATRICK, To-wit:

  I, Martin F. Clark, a Commissioner in Chancery in and for the Circuit Court 
for the county of Patrick, in the State of Virginia, do hereby certify that A.C. 
MARTIN and SHIRLEY S. MARTIN, his wife, AMOS L. MARTIN and NEVA S MARTIN, his 
wife, and HALLIE M. LAWSON and HENRY R. LAWSON, her husband, whose names are 
signed to the foregoing writing bearing date on the 29th day of October, 1962, 
have each this day personally appeared before me in my County and State 
aforesaid and acknowledged the due execution thereof.

    GIVEN under my hand this the 3rd day of November, 1962.

VIRGINIA--Patrick County, To-wit:

                 In the clerk's office of Patrick County Circuit Court, the 5th 
day of November, 1962, this deed was presented and with the certificate annexed,
