Patrick County Deed Book 28, Page 49

This deed made the 10th day of October in the year 1894 between Talford W. 
Hancock, Martha W. Martin, William F. Bryant, and James Bryant of the first part 
and Celia Martin, Margret Bryant, and J. Wesley Bryant of the second part all 
children and heirs of the late Fleming Hancock deceased.  Witnesseth that the 
parties of the first part doth grant unto the parties of the second part all of 
our entire interest in and to a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being 
in the County of Patrick and State of Virginia on the waters of Puppy Creek 
containing 45 acres more or less and bounded as follows to wit by the lands of 
Wade A. Emberson, William Via, and others with special warranty it being the 
same land on which the said Celia Martin, Margaret Bryant, and J. Wesley Bryant 
now occupy and which was levied of to each of them by the said Fleming Hancock 
in his lifetime.
  Witness the following signatures and seal.

Virginia Patrick County to wit:

       I, H.H. Hall a Justice for the county aforesaid do hereby certify that 
Talford W. Hancock Martha W. Martin, Wm F. Bryant, and James Bryant whose names 
are signed to the writing hereto annexed bearing date on the 15th day of 
October, 1894 have acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid this 
the 30th day of October, 1895.

In the Clerk's office of Patrick County Circuit Court July 10th 1895.  The 
foregoing deed was presented with certificate thereon and admitted to record.
