  THIS DEED, made on this the 7th day of August, 1973, by and between AUSTIN C. 
MARTIN and SHIRLEY S. MARTIN, his wife, AMOS L. MARTIN and NEVA S. MARTIN, his 
wife, and HALLIE M. LAWSON and HENRY R> LAWSON, her husband, parties of the 
first part, and CRAIG CONTRACTORS, INCORPORATED, party of the second part; 

                              W I T N E S S E T H

  THAT FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars, cash in hand 
paid by the party of the second part to the parties of the first part, and other 
good and valuable consideration, the receipt of all of which is acknowledged by 
the parties of the first part upon the execution and delivery of this deed, the 
said parties of the first part to hereby bargain and sell, grant and convey unto 
the said part of the second part hereto, CRAIG CONTRACTORS, INCORPORATED, with 
General Warrant of Title, and English Covenants of Title, all of that certain 
tract of parcel of land lying and being in Smith River Magisterial District of 
Patrick County, Virginia, containing 81.572 acres, and bounded and described as 
follows, to-wit:

road, N. 10 deg. 44 min. 01 sec. W. 148.28 feet to a stake in the old road; N. 
28 deg. 32 min. 48 sec. W. 139.10 feet to a stake in said road; 60 deg. 42 min. 
17 sec. W. 213.22 feet to a stake in said road; N. 33 deg. 51 min. 26 sec. W.

deg. 57 min. 43 sec. E. 147.18 feet to a stake; thence S. 53 deg. 53 min. 21 
sec. E. 131.36 feet to a 5-inch poplar; thence N. 12 deg. 21 min. 15 sec. E. 
688.06 feet to an 18-inch set stone, Keller line; thence with the Keller line, 
S. 44 deg. 51 min. 25 sec. E. 262.24 fee to a pine stump; S. 33 deg. 45 min. 45 
sec. E. 633.21 feet to a 14-inch white oak; S. 38 deg. 03 min. 37 sec. E. 90.54 
feet to a 5-inch white oak; S. 42 deg. 46 min. 23 sec. E. 901.06 feet to a 30-
inch beech, Blanco Hylton line; thence with that line and the Willy Martin line, 
S. 48 deg. 40 min. 50 sec. W. 748.89 feet to a 2-inch ash in mound of stones; S. 
70 deg. 25 min. 53 sec. W. 434.40 feet to a 30-inch hickory; S. 27 deg. 39 min. 
57 sec. W. 157.42 feet to a 26-inch poplar; N. 67 deg. 39 min. 14 sec. W. 352.06 
feet to a stake; N. 88 deg. 04 min. 10 sec. W. 277.24 feet to a 14-inch post 
oak; thence N. 45 deg. 57 min. 39 sec. W. 502.13 feet to the point of BEGINNING, 
containing 81.572 acres, more or less, by survey and plat of David B. Scott, 
C.L.S., of Hillsville, Virginia, made on November 25, 1972, entitled "Austin C. 
Martin, Smith River Magisterial District, Patrick County, Virginia", which said 
plat is to be recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Patrick 
County, Virginia, in the current Plat book; and being the same and identical 43 
3/4 acre tract or parcel of land conveyed to Lila B. Martin, by a deed dated May 
26, 1923, from T.J. Rorrer and Fannie Rorrer, his wife, and of record in the 
Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Patrick County, Virginia, in Deed Book 
50, at Page 294; said lands being increased from the aforesaid 43 3/4 acres to 
81.572 acres, by the aforesaid survey.
  The said Lila E. Martin died interstate in Patrick County, Virginia on May 6, 
1948, survived by her husband, C.B. Martin, who died on December 6, 1961, and 
the said Austin C. Martin, Amos L. Martin, and Hallie M. Lawson, her children, 
of the first part hereto, as her sole heirs at law.
  RESERVATION AND EXCEPTION:  There is hereby reserved and excepted from this 
conveyance, and not conveyed hereby, a one-half (1/2) acre lot or parcel of land 
for a graveyard, as not constituted, along with a right of way for egress and 
ingress thereto, over the lands herein conveyed.
  Reference is hereby expressly made to the aforementioned deed and plat for a 
more particular description and derivation of title of the lands hereby 
conveyed.

State of Virginia, do hereby certify that AUSTIN C. MARTIN and SHIRLEY S. 
MARTIN, his wife, AMOS L. MARTIN and NEVA S. MARTIN, his wife, and HALLIE M. 
LAWSON and HENRY R. LAWSON, her husband, whose names are signed to the foregoing 
Deed of Bargain and Sale bearing date on the 7th day of August, 1973, have each 
personally appeared before me in my County and State aforesaid, and acknowledged 
the due execution thereof.
