Know all men by these presents, That we Mark Plaster and Jonas Plaster are held and firmly 
bound unto W Robertson Esq. Liut. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and his Successors, 
in the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, 
we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and Administrators, jointly, and severally, firmly by 
these presents, sealed with our seals, and dated this 13th day of Sep 1836

The condition of the above obligation is such, that, whereas a marriage is intended to be 
solemnized between the above bound Mark Plaster and L Sharp of Patrick County, Now if there be 
no lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the above obligation to be void else to 
remain in full force and virtue.
