THE DAILY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri. Afternoon, April 12, 1935, p. 3, 
col. 5 [edited].  Patrick County News.  Stuart.  Mrs. Annie L. Wright, 84, died 
last Saturday at the home of her son in Roanoke, following an illness of two 
weeks.  She was a member of the Goblintown Primitive Baptist Church at the time 
of her death.  Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the home in Roanoke, 
after which the body was brought to the old home near Dodson in Patrick county 
and interment made by the side of her husband and son.  The deceased is survived 
by one son, Edgar N. Wright, Roanoke;  four step children:  J. J. Wright and 
Mrs. R.E. Wright, Dodson, P. G. Wright, Bassett, and Mrs. S. A. Thompson, 
Stuart;  four sisters:  Mrs. P. J. McGhee, Bassett;  Mrs. Augusta Nolen, 
Endicott;  Mrs. S. A. Ross, Vinton and Mrs. Ada Cox, Buffalo Ridge and one 
brother, Ben Ross, Draper.  

Additional Comments:
She is buried at the Wright Cemetery which is about a mile off Heidelbach School 
Road in a very remote area of Patrick County, Virginia.
