Whereas James Amberson by deed dated on the 13th of September A.D. 1808 in Allegheny
County in Book 2, page 138 conveyed in fee simple to Dunning McNair of Pitt township
in said County a certain piece of Land situate in the same Township, Beginning at a post
and running thence by land of William Powell, South twenty seven degrees West, one hundred
and forty eight perches to a ( lyn ?) Wood, thence by land of John Dunbar South east 106 perches
to a post. Thence by land of Agness Powell north 44 degrees east 116 perches to a post, thence
by land of the heirs of Robert Callender N. 23 W 5?, 9 perches to a post and N. 46 ? degrees West
89 perches to the place of Beginning, Containing one hundred acres more or less with the usual
allowance for Roads & Ca, Being a part of a tract of land granted by patent from the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to the said James Amberson, ----------- ? ----------- ? ----------- .
Now be known that the said Dunning McNair and Anne his wife in Consideration of
the sum of of two Thousand Dollars, Have granted, bargained sold and conveyed, and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto Michael Zimmerman of the said Township his
containing one hundred acres and the usual allowance & Ca To have and to hold the said piece of land
heirs and assigns all the above described piece of Land ^ with the appurtenances to the said Michael
Zimmerman his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Dunning McNair doth hereby covenant
to & with the said Michael Zimmerman his heirs and assigns that he wilt forever Warrant
and defend the said piece of Land with the appurtenances to the said Michael Zimmerman
his heirs and assigns against all manner of Persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
the same. In Testimony whereof the said Dunning McNair and Anne his wife have hereunto
set their hands and seals this 15th day of January A. D. 1814.

Received on the date of the foregoing deed of Michael Zimmerman the sum of
two thousand Dollars in full of the consideration money therein mentioned
January 15th 1814

Allegheny County ss, Before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for said County
personally appear the above signed Dunning McNair and Anne his wife who acknowledged the
above & foregoing to be their act and deed the said Anne being of full age and by me first
examined Separate and apart from the said husband and the contents made known to
her, declared she executed & Delivered the said Deed of her own free will and accord without
any Coercion or Compulsion of her said Husband. Witness my hand and seal this
18th day of January 1814.

Be it known the I John Wilkins of the Borough of Pittsburgh for a valuable consideration to me paid
by Michael Zimmerman doth hereby release and give up to the said Michael Zimmerman his heirs and
assigns forever all his right title and interest of in and to the tract described in the foregoing
deed Witness my hand and Seal this 15th day of January A. D. 1814.

Allegheny County ss, Before the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County
personally appeared the above named John Wilkins and acknowledged the above release
to be his act and deed. Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of January 1814.
