Rocher Kirkland Obituary
Rocher Milton Kirkland, age 67, of Nicholls GA passed away on Tuesday, December 
21, 2010, in the Bacon County, Hospital in Alma GA. Mr. Kirkland a native of 
Coffee County, Georgia was born October 01, 1943; he is the son of Lois Lee 
Williams Kirkland and the late Rexford Milton Kirkland. He is a member of the 
Nicholls Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, 
December 23, 2010, at the Sims Funeral Home Chapel in Douglas GA with burial 
following in the Hall Cemetery near Nicholls GA. Survivors inlcude: Vivian 
Harrell Kirkland, Daughters, Sandra K. (Don) Boone, Nicholls GA and Sharon 
(David) Varnedore, Douglas GA, Mother, Lois Lee Williams Kirkland, Nicholls GA, 
Sisters, Willene V. Wright, Nicholls GA and Sheila K. (Verlon) Hutchison, 
Douglas GA, Four Grandchildren, one great grandchild and special cousins; 
Frances and Sidney Clough, Cleveland GA and Jake Olsen, Jacksonville FL. The 
family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 
9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
