Beulah Davis Obituary
Beulah Wooten Davis, age 79, of Hartselle, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at 
Huntsville Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1931 in Georgia to George 
Washington and Mamie Jones Wooten. Mrs. Wooten was a retired cosmetologist and 
owner of The House of Beauty in Decatur, AL. and was a member of Hartselle First 
Baptist Church. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 09, 2010 at Sims 
Funeral Home Chapel in Douglas, GA at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rodney Courson 
officiating. A taped selection of "White Sport Coat and Pink Carnation" was 
provided by the family; also Gloria Caves, soloist, sang "Temporary Home": Randy 
Wooten, soloist, sang "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Interment followed in the 
Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery with Gloria Caves singing "Amazing Grace". 
Pallbearers were: Jimbo Hutto, Quitman Wooten, Jerry Wooten, Christopher Haynes, 
Marvin Wooten, Darrel Wooten and Richard Wooten. Honorary pallbearers were: 
Jimmy Wooten & Joe Wooten. Mrs. Davis was survived by husband, Clifford Davis, 
daughter, Sherry Davis, Hartselle, AL; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Hayes, 
Lauren Ashley Tapscott; 3 great grandchildren.
