WILLIAM F. BRINKER was born September 20,1845, in Mt. Pleasant township,

Drinker was a republican, a farmer and a member of the Reformed church, in which
he served as deacon and elder. He was the father of six children, all of whom
died young except William F. Brinker. (For maternal ancestry, see sketch of
Samuel Fisher).

William F. Brinker was married October 26, 1871, to Angeline M. Sadler, a
daughter of Michael and Anna Mary (Hoffman) Sadler, of Salem township, who was

has been very successful, now owning a great deal of valuable real estate upon
which he has put many costly improvements. He is a republican in political
principle but never aspired to office, and with his wife belongs to the Reformed
church in which he has held the office of deacon and elder. Much of his time is
pleasantly and usefully spent in his library, one of the essentials of a home,
and the whole family is pervaded with the spirit of improvement and progress.
