Lenoir County, 1856

William C. Loftin complained that John M. Aldridge owes his $28 - on 10 October 
1853 the jury found for the pft and fined Aldridge $24.56 and cost.

The def appealed

Aldridge contested the decision based on the Statue of limitations and a new 
trial was ordered - on the jury was Samuel Howard, Lewis Jones, George W. Jones, 
John B. Nobles, Jas. L. Cannady, P. Hardee, Thos. H. Hart, George Grey, Fred. 
Brown, Hardy Sutton, Wm. Sutton, Lewis M. Loftin

The 2nd jury also found for the plf.
