Obituary

La Grange Items

     Mrs. Needham Whitfield Herring died at the residence of her husband 
near this place last Thursday.  We extend our sympathies to the bereaved 
husband.

Note:  Mrs. Needham Whitfield Herring AKA  Harriet (Hattie) Pearsall, 
daughter of William Dickson Pearsall and Sarah Whitaker, was born in Duplin 
County, NC about 1853.  On 3 Dec 1884 in Duplin County, NC, she married 
Needham Whitfield Herring.  She is buried at Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange, 
Lenior Co, NC.
