1841 Deed from Ezekiel Creech to his daughter Mary Hill for 200 acres of land 
This Indenture made this Twenty Fifth day of January In the year of our Lord 
one Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty one Between Ezekiel Creech of the State 
of North Carolina and County of Lenoir of the one part and Mary Hill of the 
State and County afore said of the other part witnesseth That for and in 
consideration of the natural Love and affection that I have and do bear unto 
my daughter Mary Hill hath given granted and by these presents do give and 
grant unto the Said Mary Hill and her heirs lawfully begotten of her boddy a 
certain tract of land lying at the wolf pond ditch opposite the corner of the 
fence in the new road and Runs a Strait line to Said Corner offence on the 
Sothe side of the new Road and Runs with Said Road to the old Road near the 
Wheat Swamp meeting House and Corner at the Sine post and Runs thence to a 
sasefras old Corner and thence a Strait line to my own and John Gray Esquires 
Corner and with my line and Said Gray line to our Said Corner and thence with 
said Grays and my own line Mary Hills line to the wolf pond corner at Small 
Red oak and thence to the beginning Containing Two Hundred acres be the Same 
more or less to have and to hold an tenaments free an Cleare of all 
incumbrances whatever and I the Said Ezekiel Creech doth for my Self Heirs and 
Executors administrators and assigns forever warrants and defend the Right and 
titles of Said land unto the aforesaid Mary Hill her heirs lawfully begotten 
as aforesaid and their heirs and assigns forever In witness where off I have 
here unto Set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and date above written.

Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions April Term 1851. Then was the foregoing 
deed of gift from Ezekiel Creech to Mary Hill exhibited in open court and the 
execution thereof duly proved by Alexander Wilson and ordered to be 
registered.
