1937 Deed from William C. White to J. Paul Hill
STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, LENOIR COUNTY
THIS DEED, Made this the 10th day of November 1937, by and between William C.
White of Craven County, State of North Carolina hereinafter called the
grantors, parties of the first part and J. Paul Hill, hereinafter called the
grantee, party of the second part:
WITNESSETH, That the said grantors, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten
dollars and other good and valuable considerations to them paid by the said
grantee, the receipt of which is hereby fully acknowledged, have granted, sold
and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, sell and convey unto the said
grantee and his heirs and assigns in fee simple a certain lot or parcel of
land lying and being in Lenoir County, in Town of Kinston being lots No. S 4
and 5 in Block B, containing Two Lots described and contained in a certain map
made by J.L. Foy, C.E., which map is registered in the Register of Deed's
office of Lenoir County, in Book 2, page 108, reference to which is hereby
made for further description:
Being lots numbers 4 and 5 in Block B of the William C. White Subdivision. For
a more complete description refer to Book 2, Page 108 which map is of record
in the Register of Deeds Office of Lenoir County.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid Parcel of land, with all privileges and
appertanences thereto belonging or appertaining, to th4e grantee his heirs and
assigns, to their only use and behoof forever.
And the said grantors hereby covenant to and with the said grantee his heirs
and assigns, that they are seized of said premises in fee, and have a good and
lawful right to convey in fee simple; that the same are free and clear from
all encumbrances, and that they will forever warrant and defend the title to
the same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, The said William C. White have hereunto set his hands
and affixed his seal all on this the day and year first above written.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, LENOIR COUNTY
I, Marion H. Walter Notary Public, do hereby certify that William C. White,
single, personally appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due
execution of the annexed Deed of conveyance.
Witness my hand and private seal, this 10th day of November A.D., 1937
My Commission expires Oct. 5th 1938.

NORTH CAROLINA LENOIR COUNTY
The foregoing certificate of Marion H. Walter a N P of Lenoir County, N.C., is
adjudged to be correct and sufficient. Let the instrument with the
certificates be registered.
