BOYER SERVICES TO BE HELD TUESDAY 

Funeral services for Mrs. Errett Russell Boyer, 81, will be conducted Tuesday 
at 2 p.m. at the Kirby Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Ivan H. Hansen, pastor 
of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Russell who lived on Route 1, El Dorado, 
died Saturday at a local nursing home.

The casket will not be opened at the services. Friends may call at the funeral 
home until Tuesday noon. Interment will be made in Sunset Lawns cemetery.

Mrs. Boyer had lived in this area for 46 years. She was born Oct. 21, 1882 at 
Tarkio, Mo. And moved to Cassoday at the age of two years. She resided at 
Cassoday for seven years, later returning to Tarkio. In 1918, she moved to El 
Dorado.

She and Mr. Russell were married August 21, 1904, at Tarkio. He died in 1947. 

Mrs. Boyer was a member of the First Christian Church and was a charter member 
of the Walnut valley Home Demonstration Unit.

Survivors include two sons, James R. and John S. Boyer, both of Route 1, four 
grandchildren, Mrs. Keith Martin, Seminole, Okla., Carl Boyer, Towanda and 
William and Robert Boyer, both of Route 1 and seven great-grandchildren.
