	Allen E. Muir, 88,  died Sunday, November 5, 1989, at Elmwood Care 
Centre in Onawa.
	Mr. Muir was born January 24, 1901, in Oregon City, Ore. to Charles 
and Nora (Califf) Muir.  
	On June 19, 1929, he married Gladys Fairchild at Pisgah.    She died 
July 25, 1967.  He married Grace Hecker in 1969.  
        Survivors include his wife, Grace; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and 
Mary Muir of Scottsdale, Ariz., a daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Ron 
Clabaugh of Rapid City, S.D., six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one 
brother, Elbert Muir of Mesa, Ariz., and one sister, Marian Meadows of 
Portland, Ore.
