	Dr. Joe Lewis Moad, 86, of Pisgah, Iowa died Wednesday, November 7, 
1990, at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
	He was born December 13, 1903, in Page, Neb., to Ralph W. and Alice 
(Templeton) Moad  On August 24, 1927, he married Marie Lucile Griffith at the 
Methodist Church in Pisgah.
         Survivors include his wife, one son, Joe L. Jr. of Pisgah, one 
grandson, Joseph Andrew Moad of Kodiak, Alaska, and two brothers-in-law and 
their wives, Leo and Arlene Griffith of Omaha, Neb. and Jay and Maxine 
Griffith of Mesa, Ariz.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rex W. Moad.
