                                   Mrs. Ella Frances Fowler

 Mrs. Ella Frances Fowler, 86, died Friday evening at Spalding Regional 
Hospital. Mrs. Fowler was born in Bleckley County, Ga., daughter of the late 
Walter Howell and the late Maggie Pierce Howell. She was the wife of the late 
James H. Fowler. She was retired from United Cotton Goods.

 Mrs. Fowler is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann and Daniel 
Hill, Griffin and Patricia Vining, Fayetteville; seven grandchildren; 18 great-
grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Barlow, 
Riverdale, Maggie Snow, Griffin, and Marcia Yarbrough, Jasper; brothers, Lonnie 
Howell, Emmett Howell, and C. M. Howell, all of Griffin and Walter Howell of 
Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Frances Fowler will be conducted this afternoon 
at 3 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Huckaby will 
officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. McCullough 
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
