                       Hester Kate Cannon Floyd

JEFFERSONVILLE - Hester Kate Cannon Floyd, 79, of Bullard Road, died Wednesday 
at her residence.

Services will be held at 3P.M., Friday in Prospect United Methodist Church in 
Twiggs County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Wesley Jones, Rev. 
Larry Giles, and Rev. Joe Bateman will officiate.

Mrs. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County and was the daughter of the 
late Charlie Lee and Annie Lentz Cannon. Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker and a 
member of Prospect United Methodist Church where she taught the Hattie Floyd 
Sunday School Class for more than thirty-two years. She was also active in the 
United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John Brady Floyd, Sr. of 
Jeffersonville; daughter, Linda Kate F. Farmer of Perry; sons, John 
Brady "Johnny" Floyd, Jr., of Jeffersonville; and Charlie Zack Floyd of 
Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Thursday in the 
funeral home.

Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
