                          James D. Collins

 James D. Collins, 59, of Christian Towers, died Wednesday in a local hospital 
after an extended illness. Services will be held at 11am today in Cool Springs 
Primitive Baptist Church in Twiggs County.

 Mr. Collins, a native of Bleckley County, lived in Macon most of his life. He 
was a retired automobile parts salesman and was a Methodist.

 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jim Sheffield of Macon and Mrs. Pam 
Herndon of Hollywood, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mozelle Lord and Mrs. I. A. 
Ellis, both of Macon and Mrs. J. B. Beasley of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two 
brothers, W. B. Collins and Russell Collins, both of Macon; and two 
grandchildren.

 The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the 
American Cancer Society.

 Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

James was born 11 Feb 1919 to Daniel Jethro Collins and Eva Etta Lamb Collins.
