                       NEED ARNOLD BURIED TODAY
           Twiggs County Farmer Expired Yesterday After Long Illness

Funeral services for Need Arnold, Twiggs County farmer, were held this 
afternoon at three o'clock at Cool Springs Church, the Rev. Josh Chance and 
the Rev. Elizia Bryant officiating.
 Mr. Arnold died yesterday morning at his home near Danville following four 
week's illness. He was born and reared in Twiggs County and was a member of 
the Primitive Baptist church.
 He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marian Lucas, who resides near Danville; 
one half sister, who resides near Cochran; ten grandchildren; and sixteen 
great grandchildren.
 Adams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Needham was born to Green B. Arnold and Nancy Puttman on 10-8-1852. He was 
married to Sara Elizabeth "Betty" Pope Arnold.
