Edgecombe County, NC - David & Elizabeth Phillips Family Record

The following is a transcript of notes listing the children and slaves of 
David and Elizabeth Phillips of Edgecombe Co., NC.  It is not known who 
actually made these notes, but they were kept in a packet of documents 
passed down through David Taylor Phillips of Tattnall Co., GA.  The 
notations were made on pages torn from a small (4? X 7?) notebook.  For

Celia J. Phillips was borned the 18th day of January in the year of 
our lord 1805

Benjamin William Phillips was borned the 22nd day of February 1807

Mary Mawn Philllips was borned the 1st day of October 1809

Amalvina and Amanda Phillips was borned the 17th day of February 1812

Peter Priden Phillips was borned the 1st day of August 1814

William Barber Phillips was borned the 1st day of December 1815

Prudence Hines Phillips was borned the 12th day of January 1818

Martha Elizer Phillips was borned the 17th day of March 1819

Caroline Phillips was borned the 12th day of November 1820

Richard Taylor Phillips was borned the 1st day of August 1822

David Taylor Phillips was borned the 12th day of August 1824

Susan Elizer Phillips was borned the 30th day of April 1827

John Bridgers Phillips was borned the 20 of October 1845

Peter Hardy Phillips was borned the 1 day of June 1848
