Theodoria (Cricket) Clark Dunnom
Mrs. Theodoria (Cricket) Clark Dunnom of Ocilla died Monday, July 20,
1998, at the Irwin County Hospital. She was 66.
Mrs. Dunnom was born October 5, 1931, in Irwin County, the daughter of
Lucinda Clark and Eddie Mack Clark.
She was an active member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and served as
an usher. She was an LPN for 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Dunnom; four daughter, Christine
Bite of Philadelphia, PA, Avis Collins of Fitzgerald, Dorothy Grimes of
Fitzgerald and Lavada Johnson of Tifton; three sons, David Jackson of
Wheatley Heights, NY, Leroy Dunnom, Jr. of Fitzgerald, Amos Dunnom of
Memphis, TN; two brothers, George Smith of Miami, FL, and Ruby Lee Mack
of Ocilla; 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services were held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Fitzgerald on
Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Washington officiating.
Music was provided by the mixed choir, with solos by Linda King and
Sarah Jackson.
Active pallbearers were friends of the family. Honorary pallbearers were
sons and grandsons.
Interment was held at Ocilla City Cemetery.
Hall's Funeral Home of Fitzgerald was in charge of arrangements.
