Stella G. Coker

   Mrs. Stella Griffin Coker, 94. of  Sycamore passed away April 8,1997 at 
Ashburn Health Care after a
  long illness.
    Mrs. Coker was the daughter of Bartow B. and Rachel McMillian  Griffin. She 
was born in Irwin county, was a homemaker and was the widow of Ernest Dee 
Coker, Sr
  She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a member of W.M.U.
  Survivors includle ason, Wayne Coker of Eugene, Oregon; six grandchildren; 
twelve great grandchildren and onegreat great grandchild. 
  One son preceded her in death,Ernest Dee Coker, Jr., and two daughters, Reba 
C. Denham and Jean C. Dryden.
 Funeral services were held Friday April 11, 1997 at Ferry Funeral Chapel in 
Ashburn. Rev.Ken Kicklighter and Rev. Charles Underwood officiated.
 Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn,
  Ferry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn was in charge of the
arrangements.
