                           Eva B. Pettis

 Eva B. Pettis, 76 of Route 1 Lakewood Drive, Ocilla, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 
1992, at Tift General Hospital. Survivors include one son, Vernon Pettis of 
Ocilla; and two daughters, Sara Grace Paulk and Carolyn Brown, both of Ocilla; 
and Patricia Phillips of Hawkinsville. The family will receive friends from 7 
to 9 tonight at Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla.

Services: Evan B. Pettis of Ocilla, funeral services at 11am Friday at Holt 
Baptist Church, burial at Holt Cemetery in Irwin County.

Additional Comments:
Eva was born 17 Jan 1916 to William "Willie" Joshua Bates and Annie V. "Ma 
Bates" Phillips Bates. Her husband was Lenton V. Pettis. Georgia death 
certificate #048907.
