Majorie G. Paulk
  Mrs..Marjorie Gay Paulk, 85,of Ocilla passed away Friday, August
 15, 1997 at Tift General Hospital in Tifton.
  Mrs. Paulk was born April 23,1912 in Tift county and was the daughter of 
James L.and Frances Horne Gay. She had lived in Irwin county most of her life, 
was a homemaker and was a member of Mt.Union Primitive Baptist Church in Coffee 
county.
    Survivors include her husband,John C. Paulk of Ocilla; three sons,J. Ron 
Paulk of Fitzgerald, Alan G. Paulk of Douglas and Robert A."Bob" Paulk of 
Beechgrove, TN; one daughter, Cecile Paulk Sumner of Ocilla; one brother, Orman 
Gay of Marion, VA; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
    Funeral services were held Monday, August 18, 1997 at Mt. Union Primitive 
Baptisf Church in Coffee county at 11 a.m. with Elder Keith Smith and Rev. 
Larry Paulk officiating.
    Hoy Courson served as pianist
    Pallbearers were Dan Fussell, Harold Roberts, Donnie Smith, Gary Paulk, 
Alan Paulk and Kirk Paulk.   
    Interment was in Mt.Union Cemetery in Coffee county.
    Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
