Newspaper clipping
Bryant Young, 87 of Route 4 died at 2 a.m. Thursday November 25, 1965in Ben 
Hill County Hospital.  



A lifetime resident of the community, he is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Mae 
Belle Young; three sons, J.C. Young of Fitzgerald, D.C. Young of Ocilla and 
Martin Young of Opa Locka, Fla.; six daughters, Mrs. Rueben Walker and Mrs. 
James Johnson of Fitzgerald, Mrs. Robert Bell of Macon, Mrs. N. C. Roberts of 
Waycross, Mrs. G. Green of Bradenton, Fla. and Mrs. Lonnie More of St. 
Petersburg, FL and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



Other survivors include: a brother, Tony Young of Baxley, two sisters, Mrs. 
Henry Folsom of Tifton and Mrs. Della Paul of Jacksonville, Fla. and several 
nieces and nephews.



A farmer and carpenter, Mr. Young was born September 23, 1878 in Irwin County. 
His parents were Dan A. Young and Catherine McCall Young.



Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Central Methodist Church. Rev 
Ned Steele and Rev. Robert McDearmid officiated. Interment was in Evergreen 
cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers were Otis Horton, Vernie Horton, Russell Prescott, D.W. 
Horton, J.D. McCook and Wesley Young.



Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
