Death Notices From The Douglas Breeze, April 22, 1905
DEATH OF MRS. MARY S YOUMANS

Mrs. Mary S Youmans died last Sunday at the residence of Mr Richard Smith,
her brother-in-law, where she had stopped after going to church. Feeling
tired, she had gone into a room for a short nap, and someone went to awake
her, she was dead.
Mrs. Youmans was 67 years of age, the mother of seven children, and had
been a member of the Missionary Baptist Church for over thirty years, and all
that time she lived a consistent member.
She had lived in such a manner that all who knew loved "Aunt Mary", for she
was a friend to the sick and afflicted, with a word encouragement always ready
for those in need.
Her husband, relatives and numerous friends have our sympathy in their
bereavement.
The remains of Mrs Mary Youmans were interred at the cemetery at Carver
Church, on Tuseday the 18, where many friends of a life time had gone in
sadness to pay their last sad duties to a good woman.

Additional Comments:
Mary S Daniel, was the daughter of Zachariah Moses Daniel and Allie Dubberly.
