Mr. George Solomon
	"George Solomon lived a life dedicated to God, family, and country."

Mr. George Solomn, age 87, formerly of Broxton, GA passed away on Tuesday,
September 7, 2010, at the Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgevilole, GA
following an extended illness.  Mr. Solomon was a farmer and a veteran of World
War II.  He was a former deacon of the Broxton Church of God.  Mr. Solomon was
born on July 5, 1923 to the late George Dewey and Lillie Smith Solomon in
Broxton, GA.  Mr. Solomon was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Harper
Solomon, daughter: Wynelle Cliett and grandson, Kevin Cliett.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the
Broxton Church of God with Rev, Joey Copeland and Rev. Milton Pate officiating.
 Music was provided by pianist, Verneal Grantham with Clyde Harper singing
"Stroll Over Heaven."  Burial followed in the Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Troy Cliett, Daren Cliett, Barry Solomon, Shane Pridgen, Davey
Solomon, D.J. Harper, George Harper, and Roy Harper.

Survivors include: son: Gerald Solomon, Niceville, FL; granddaughter: Carie
Michelle Solomon Hahnert, Cookeville, TN; grandsons: Barry Solomon, Tulsa, OK,
Daren Cliett, Douglas, GA; Randy Cliett and Troy Cliett, Broxton, GA; nine great
grandchildren.   	Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
