 Judy Harris Smith, 54, of Ambrose died December 1, 2004 at her residence.

 A native of Itawamba County, Miss., she was born April 14, 1950, the daughter 
of Edna Mae Mayhall Harris of Alapaha and the late Monroe Collins Harris. She 
was a homemaker.

 Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Jerry Wayne Smith 
of Ambrose; three daughters, Vickie Railey, Rhonda Rush and Gina Fowler, all of 
Ambrose; two brothers, Mackie Dale Harris of Alapaha and Billy Harris of 
Nashville; two sisters, Pamela Hale of Omega and Barbara Grimes of Ocilla; 
three grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held December 3 at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas with 
Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Jimmy Weeks and Don Lott sang "Amazing 
Grace," "I'll Fly Away" and "Walk the Last Mile Together" with Lois Mills as 
pianist.

 Interment was in Griffin Cemetery.

 Active pallbearers were James Hope, Jerry Davis, Frank Veasey, Rob Smith, 
Danny Patton, Tim Capka.

Honorary pallbearers were Ricky and Pam Lott, Curtis and Geraldine Newell, 
James Ronald and Debbie Boggan, Willie and Marsha Clement, Sherrill and Linda 
Day, Sue and Larry McDuffie, Don and Sherry Paulk.

 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
