Atkinson County Citizen - April 12, 2007
  Mr. Sirmans was born in Fernandina Beach, FL, February 9, 1961, son of Maxie 
Sirmans and Eva Bennett Osborne. He had made his home in Pearson, GA for most 
of his life where he served in Law Enforcement and also worked as an Insurance 
Agent.
  Survivors include daughter, Kaylee Sirmans of Macon, GA; son, Brandon Carver 
of Douglas, GA; his father, Maxie Sirmans and wife Dale of Pearson, GA; mother, 
Eva Osborne and husband Lyle of Atkinson, GA; and brother, David Sirmans and 
wife Debbie of Atkinson, GA.
  A memorial service for Mr. Sirmans was held at 11 a.m. April 7, 2007 at 
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Steve Sirmans and Elder Stacy 
Sirmans officiating. Special thoughts and memories were given by many family 
members and friends. 
  Special musical selections included "Amazing Grace" rendered by the 
congregation, led by Jason Fender with Francine Fender accompanying at the 
piano, "Love Lifted Me," "Praise Medley" and "Made Me Glad" rendered by Audrey 
Ponsell, lead singer with vocal and instrumental accompaniment by Van Vickers, 
Lon Gillis and Tommy Ponsell. Soft music for the prelude and postlude was 
provided by Francine Fender, pianist.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
