Atkinson County Citizen - December 15, 2005
 Mrs. Geneva Spivey Reliford, age 74, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, 
December 6, 2005 at Saint Luke Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

 Mrs. Reliford, a native of Atkinson County, GA was born October 16, 1931, 
daughter of the late Perry & Effie Kay Davis Spivey. She is a homemaker and 
widow of the late James William Reliford.

 Survivors include sons, James Wayne Reliford of the Pridgen Community, and 
Donny Ray Reliford of Douglas, GA; daughters, Eva Gail Reliford and Vera Kay 
Kent of Douglas, GA; sisters, Seyene Anderson of Pearson, GA, Betty Dickerson 
of Jackosnville, FL, Pearlie Privett, Ernestine Dibble and Ann Dibble of 
Douglas, GA; brother, James Spivey of Douglas, GA; seven grandchildren eight 
great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2005, in the Chapel of 
Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA with Rev. Levi Jones and Rev. Milton Dean 
officiating. Soloist, Betty Dickerson sang, "On The Wings Of An Angel" 
and "Precious Memories," also a taped selection of "Go Rest High On That 
Mountain" was provided.

 Burial followed in the Royals Cemetery in Atkinson Co., GA.

 Active pallbearers were Luke Singleton, Bill Reliford, Julian Richardson, 
Matthew Smith, Shannon Merritt and Eric Dibble.

 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
