Mr. James Estell Music, age 54, of Green Acres Sub-Division, Douglas,
GA., passed away Sat. July 11, 1987.

Born April 7, 1933, in Bacon Co., GA.  Mr. Music was the son of Ollie
Lee Holton Music and the late Lawton Estelle Music.  A resident of
Coffee Co., and Lake Sinclair, he was a long-time emplyee of Joseph
Campell Company.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Music of Douglas; 2 daughters, Debra
Cross of Crossville, Tenn.; Debbie Temperle of Huntsville, Ala.; 4 sons,
James Charlton Music and Jimmy D. Owens of Douglas; Billy C. Owens of
Huntsville, Ala. and Bobby Owens of Columbus, GA.; his mother, Ollie Lee
Music of Douglas; 2 sisters, Bernice Music of Douglas and Ollie Mae
'Bobbi' DeAngelis of Atlanta, GA.; 2 brothers, Wesley Music of
Fernandina Beach, Fl., and Milton Music of Douglas; 11 grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 4pm, Tuesday, July 14, 1987, at Southview
Church of God with Rev. Hank Avera and Rev. Sime Morris officiating. 
Special music provided by "Message" with Scott Roberts accompanying. 
Mr. Roberts also played solt music for the prelude and postlude. 
Interment followed in Sand Hille Church Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were: J.D. Herring, Kenny Pharr, Eddie
Stephens, John Luke, Donald Clark and James D. Zanders.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangments.
