Douglas Enterprise - December 22, 2013
 Mr. Clinton Murray, age 84, of Douglas passed away suddenly Saturday morning, 
December 14, 2013, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Murray was 
born May 9, 1929, to the late Leroy Murray and the late Levi Floyd Murray 
McGee. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Callis Murray.
 Mr. Murray, a native of Coffee County, was prominent farme4er of the Bethel 
Community. He was better known as The Vegetable Man since he grew his own 
vegetables and sold them throughout the Douglas area.
 Mr. Murray was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 
1st Ward.
 Survivors include his children, James Clinton Murray, Kenneth Wade (Wanda) 
Murray, and Kyle Aubrey Murray all of Douglas, GA; two sisters, Dorothy Brigmond

oretha Rhoden of Monroe, NC; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 
several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Church 
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1st Ward, with Bro. Ovid O'Neal and Bro. 
Doug Gilbert officiating. An opening prayer was presented by Bro. Ricki 
Wilkerson. A closing prayer was given by Bro. David Cox. 
 The interment followed in the Cumorah Cemetery, with Bro Ricki Wilkerson 
presenting the Dedication of the Grave Site.
 Pallbearers were Kevin Kneeland, Tony Wilson, Lester Murray, Dennis Franzen, 
Ronnie Rentz, Gage Aldridge.
 Special musical selections, How Great Thou Art, and Silent Night, were 
rendered by the soloist, Mrs. Renee Elliott, with Mrs. Lois Mills, at the 
organ, prelude and postlude soft hymns were rendered by the organist, Mrs. Lois 
Mills.
 Ricketson Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
