Nell Hodge Henderson, age 91 of Americus, formerly of Buena Vista died 
Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Perfect Care in Americus.

Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM 
at Buena Vista Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating.  The family 
received friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. at Tante Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henderson was born November 18, 1918 in Buena Vista the daughter of Henry 
and Eva Johnson Hodge.  She had lived in Buena Vista most of her life until 
she moved to Americus 14 years ago to be near her daughters.  She was the 
widow of Hugh Henderson and Eddie Blanchard Youngblood and a member of 
Brantley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Henderson worked at Marion Drug Company 
and was known to make the best cherry cokes.  The children loved going to 
visit her to get the special cokes she made.

Survivors  include her daughters, Sandra Bowen and Brenda Underwood  and Bobby 
all of Americus, Georgia, son, Rufus Eugene Youngblood of Hot Springs, 
Arkansas, brother Charles Hodge, sister Dixie Gibson and Herman all of Buena 
Vista, Georgia. Grandchildren Monica Andrews and J.R., Jimmy Underwood, Jr. 
Bobby Underwood, Jr. and Michaela, Kerry Bratton and Greg, Gregg  Youngblood & 
Christy.  Several Great Grandchildren, and l great great granddaughter also 
survive.
