In the Name of God Amen I Jacob Bishind
Weak of Body but perfect in Mind and Memory and Calling
to mind the Mortality of my Body and that is appointed for
All men once to die I therefor Recommend my soul unto
God who gave it and my Body to the Dust to be buried
in a Christian Manner at the discretion of my Executors
nothing doubting but I shall arise at the last day of
Judgement an as for my worldly Estate when of the
Lord hath Blessed me with I do bequeath in the following
Manner form first I leave to my Beloved wife Cathrine
Bishind one Bay Mare & Saddle two Cows three Sheep hir
Bed and furnuture[sic] two Potts one Brass Kittle and all
the Puter now in my House on Poplar Chest to my daughter
Daughter[sic] Hannah five Pounds proc. and if my wife sho[u]ld
not agree She is to have fifteen Acres of Cleared Land [x-out]
With one House at the Boys Expense Comfortably to live in
to my Son one Sorral Mare to my Son Jacob one Sorral filly
and the rest of my Estate to be Devided a mongst the whole
family as the Law directs and doth appoint and Ordain
my wife Cathrine Bishind and my son John Bishind to be
my Executor and doth Revoke Disallow and Disanull
all wills and Testaments and always this to be my last
Will and Testament Given under my hand and Seal this

this Eleventh day of October in the year of our Lord one
Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy three
