Sarah, Lydia & Barbara} To the Honourable, the Judges of the Court of common 
Pleas of Bedford County 

Fink Pet. for guardian} now composing an --- Orphans Court at Aug. Term 1847. 
The Petition of SARAH, LYDIA & BARBARA FINK Humbly --- that they are minors 
above the age of fourteen years, that they have no person to take care of their 
person and estate that their father VALENTINE FINK late of Hopewell township 
County aforesaid died having Eleven children and a widow SARAH FINK that he left 
no real Estate and that his personal property amounts to about 1360 --- they 
therefore pray the Court to appoint some suitable person to take care of their 
persons and estate.

Guardian Appt Aug 25th, 1847
The foregoing petition read and filed. & petitioners appeared and made choice of 
William __ Fluck, Esq., for their Guardian. Whereupon on motion of J. A. Blodget 
Esq. Said William S. Fluck, Esq., was appointed guardian over the persons and 
estates of the SARAH, LYDIA, & BARBARA FINK, upon his giving a separate Bond to 
each minor with approve security in the sum of five hundred dollars.

Bond given by the Court.
 
Valentine Fink} To the Honourable, the Judges of the Court of common Pleas of 
Bedford County Fink Pet for guardian } now composing an --- Orphans Court at 
Aug. Term 
1847. The Petition of VALENTINE FINK by his next friend SARAH FINK ---
(REPRESENTS) that he is a minor under the age of fourteen and that he has no 
person to care of his person and estate that his father VALENTINE FINK late of 
Hopewell township County aforesaid died leaving Eleven children and a widow 
SARAH FINK that he left no real Estate and that his personal property amounts to 
about $3600.00 --- he then prays that some suitable person may be appointed as 
Guardian of the said VALENTINE FINK to take care of his person & estate.
