Adam Errett Will
"In the name of God, Amen. I, Adam Errett of the Township of Hempfield in the County of
Westmoreland and State of Pennsylvania being of good health of body and of mind and disposing
memory Praised be God for the same and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I
have strength and capacity so to do do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in
manner following first and principally I commit my soul unto the hands of my creator who gave
it. and as to such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to entrust me with. I dispose
of as follows first I will that my Personal Estate and also my real Estate be sold by Public
sale by my Executors here in after mentioned and my real Estate be conveyed by them to the
purchaser. I also order that all my debts and funeral expenses and charges of proving this
my Will being the ___[illegible] plan fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof and
any ___[illegible] thereof, I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Henry H. Hartzel one hundred
Dollars to be paid to him by my Executor and the remainder of all my personal as well as my
real estate be divided amongst all my children. Share and share alike until all is divided
equally and I hereby do nominate constitute and appoint John Troxel Esq. & my son Adam Errett
both of Hempfield township, Westmoreland County my Executors of this my last Will and
Testament as witness whereof I , Adam Errett the Testator ___[illegible] to this my Will
written set my hand and seal the ninth day of May A.D. 1850"

"Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Testator Adam Errett as and for his
last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and
in the presence of each other hast subscribed and named as as witness thereto John Troxel,
Michael Widaman, Philip Steiner"
"26 March 1860. Legally proved and approved same day recorded and Letters Testamentary
granted to John Troxel and Adam Errett Executors named in the Will who were sworn before."
