Will of John Beatty, son of Benjamin Beatty Will No. 12 of 1881 - Westmoreland
County, Pa. John died 27 January, 1881
In the Name of God, Amen. I, John Beatty, of Unity Township, Westmoreland County,
Pennsylvania, do make and publish this, my last Will and Testament.
I devise to John H. Beatty, son of John Beatty Jr., his heirs and assigns
one acre of land, more or less, situate in Unity Township, said County and State,
commencing at a point on the line of the depot land of the Pennsylvania Railroad and
running in a Northerly direction parallel with my dwelling house now in the
occupancy of Aug H. Kendig and fifteen feet west there from 150 feet , thence due
east to center of public road leading from Beatty to Latrobe, thence along center of
said road in a southerly direction to the aforesaid depot land to the place of
beginning, having erectered thereon a frame dwelling house and frame cure
building.
And as touching the rest, residue , and as to the rest of my estate , real
and personal of whatsoever kind or nature the same may be, I give and devise the
same to Mrs. Nancy T. George, Mrs. Martha C. Baldridge , Mrs. Sarah Adams and John
Beatty, Jr share and share alike , and to their heirs and assigns forever
And lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint John Beatty, Jr., to be the
executor of this, my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof, I, John Beatty, the testator, have to this, my last
will, have set my hand and seal this 28th day of February, 1879 John Beatty, seal
