Cyrus Gresham HUBBS, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kate NELSON, of
Armenia in Juneau county, on the evening of June 15, 1903, at seven
o'clock, after a lingering illness, having ben in poor health for over two
years. The last four weeks of his life he was perfectly helpless, and
suffered intensely. His remains were brought to Friendship Tuesday,
arriving at the village cemetery at sundown, where in the shadows of the
gathering twilight he was tenderly laid at rest, to await the dawn of the
resurrection morning. His remains were accompanied to this village by his
daughter and son-in-law.

Deceased was born Feb. 19, 1843; and was aged 60 years, 3 mos. and 27 days
at the time of his death. He was for many years a resident of Lincoln in
this county, and was a member of Badgero Post, G. A. R., of this village.
