Mrs. M. J. HINMAN died at her home in Kilbourn last Tuesday morning, of
pneumonia, after an illness of only four days. For many years previous to
the removal of the family to Kilbourn, they lived on what is now known as
the Brandenburg farm, on the river road a half mile north of the Olin Mill.
Her husband, the late James HINMAN, was prominent in the early business
affairs of Adams county. Mrs. HINMAN had quite a number of old-time friends
and acquaintances in this village, and to whom the news of her decease came
as a painful surprise.

Mrs. HINMAN was the mother of Dr. Fred HINMAN of Rhinelander, Mr. Harry
HINMAN of Kilbourn, Arthur HINMAN, and a daughter Lola, who was married a
few months ago to a gentleman whose name we have not learned.
