DR. J. M. HARRISON DEAD: A Well-known Physician and Citizen at his Home in
this Village

Dr. J. M. HARRISON died of heart disease at his home in Friendship at 10:30
o'clock in the forenoon of January 20, 1892.

Mr. HARRISON was born in Friendship, Alleghany County, New York, on April
1st, 1832, and came to this place in 1859, where he resided off and on up
to the time of his death. Deceased was a member of the Masonic order, an
old soldier, and known as an honest, upright man, and a physician of 35
years' experience.

Death, however, came to this patient sufferer with the kindest of relief.
For years that dread disease had been sapping his life, and medical aid
could afford scarcely any relief, to say naught of cure. A few months ago
he sacrificed his home here to attend the Keeley Institute, of Illinois,
and while there he grew rapidly worse and had to return home; steadily the
disease progressed, and slowly but surely the strong constitution of the
old genetleman yielded. The best possible care has been given to the
patient by the untiring ministrations of his faithful wife.

Peace be to his ashes.

Mr. HARRISON leaves behind him to deeply mourn his departure, a faithful
wife, and seven children. The children are scattered as follows: Clarence,
Ned and Scott are at home; Leon is at Merrill, Wisconsin; Russ is at
Knoxville, Tennessee; Mrs. Louise CROSBY is at Hubbard, Nebraska and Mrs.
Clara BLACK is at Omaha, Nebraska.
