Died: Gray--In Richfield, on Sunday October 2nd, 1870, of consumption, Mrs.
Lucy Gray, wife of James Gray, aged 60 years.

Mrs. Gray and her husband were natives of Great Bend, Susquehanna county,
Pennsylvania. In 1854, they came to Wisconsin, and settled upon the present
homestead of the family, in the town of Richfield (then a part of Grand
Marsh), in this county.

Mrs. Gray had long been in feeble health, but she bore her ills with the
patience and fortitude becoming the christian character. In her family she
was the good and worthy wife, the affectionate and careful mother. As a
neighbor and friend she was without reproach. In her death her friends have
met with an irreparable loss, and the community where she resided a most
worthy member. A large circle sympathize with the friends in their great
bereavement.
