FRIENDSHIP
Harold H. Elliott, 60, town of Jackson, Adams County, died at 
4 p.m. Tuesday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital where he had 
been a patient for a week. He had been ill since last fall. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Brooks 
Congregational Church, the Rev. William King officiating. Burial 
will follow in the New Chester Cemetery.

Mr. Elliot was born in the town of Jackson, Sept. 8, 1906, the son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elliott. He married Cecil Beals Sept. 30, 
1930. A lifelong resident of Adams County, he was employed as a 
truck driver for a construction company. 

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Valery Anderson, 
Friendship, and Mrs. Edna Taft, Oxford; a son, Hollis, Oxford; three 
stepdaughters, Mrs. Lorraine Premo, Brokks; Mrs. Beverly Fry, 
Milton; and Mrs. Betty Chapman, Portage; one brother, Jesse Elliott, 
Beloit, and a half-brother, Jerry Elliott, Milwaukee. Also surviving 
are 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
