OBITUARY--MRS. ADELINE BLAIR

Adeline VAHNE BLAIR was born in the town of Shelot, Vermont in 1806, and
was married to Francis BLAIR and resided there until they moved to
Wisconsin in 1860, settling in Adams county. Her home had been continuously
in this county, except two years spent with a son at Coloma. Three years
ago she came to Friendship to live with her daughter, Mrs. WALTON, where
she passed away Wednesday night last week at 11 o'clock.

She is survived by one son and one daughter.

Mrs. BLAIR was 97 years old at the time of her death, and had been in
feeble health for a long time. The end was not unexpected and came quietly
and peacefully.

She leaves many friends and will be greatly missed. She was a great-great
grandmother and four generations in line attended her funeral.

Funeral services were conducted from the Congregational church Saturday.
Rev. A. H. Smith officiated and preached from the text "Thinkest thou this
to be right?"

The interment was in the village cemetery.
