New Castle News, Friday, July 4, 1969
Francis J. Fehrenbach, 73, of Tiona, Pa., a former 
resident of New Castle, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in 
Warren General Hospital in Warren, Pa. after a brief 
illness.
    He was born in New Castle Feb. 6, 1896, to the late 
Andrew and Mary Brinkley Fehrenbach. He was married Oct. 30, 
1916, to the former Mary Brinkley (Gardner) who died in 
1955.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dale (LaVerne Shoaf) of 
New Castle; a son, H. Grant, with whom he was residing; a 
sister Mrs. Leo (Mae) Cavander of Pittsburgh; and six 
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  He was 
preceded in death by a son, Thomas, in 1956; two brothers, 
Lawrence and Raymond; and two sisters, Dorothy and Marshy 
Ruth Flynn.
    Interment will be in St. Joseph the Worker Church 
Cemetery.
