Will Book #5 - Page 164 - No. 3060 - Will of Caleb BOSWORTH
Know all Men by these presents (sic) that I Caleb Bosworth,
Sr. of Alleppo Township, Greene County, Pa. Being of Sound
mind and Memory Make this my last will and testament. First
my will is that after my demise that I be decently buried
that all my just Debts & funeral expences (sic) be paid;
Second that My wife Jane receive one hundred $100.00 Dollars
out of my estate, all the property that she had when she
became my wife & one half of all that has been Made in the
house since we have lived together and one third interest in
the real estate that remain that is not willed to George,
and the said one third interest her natural life. Then to
my heirs 3rd) to my Daughter Mary Mitchel & heirs one
hundred dollars $100.00 to be equally divided between her 4
heirs and 4th) to my Son George I Devise a portion of My
real estate to comence (sic) at the Corner of Geo. Bungard &
John Kimble at the road, thence by said road to the fence
between the Meadow & corn field, thence by Said fence due
west to the boundry (sic) line between me and the land of
___ Gallentine so thence by line of my land with said
Gallentine, Tidrow, Debolt, & George Bungard, to the place
of Begining (sic) that the said land is not subject to any
debts judgements (sic) executions at the present time or
debts hereafter contracted and at his Death to be sold and
the money to be equally divided between heirs & 5th) my will
is that all the remainder, of my estate boath (sic) real
personal to be Sold at public Sale by my Executors and the
proceeds to be equally divided between the remainder of my
heirs Thomas Bosworth, Hawkins Bosworth, William Bosworth &
?Ju Ann Fernandeth Bosworth: And I further Appoint my two
Sons George and William Bosworth the Executors of this my
last will and testament at the request of Caleb Bosworth,
Sr. on this 4th day of February 1878. The above named Caleb
Bosworth, Sr. Signed and Sealed this Instrument and
published and at his request and inthe presents (sic) of
Each other have hereunto Subscribed our Names as witnesses.

Before mr J. L. Yoders, Register for the probate of
Wills and Granting Letters of Administration, in and for
Said County came Thomas S. Gallentine and Jacob J. S. Moore
two of the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing
Will, Who being (affirmed according to law) Say that they
were present and Saw and heard Caleb Bosworth, the testator,
Sign, Seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing
instrument of writing, as and for his last will and
testament, and at the time of so doing he was of Sound Mind,
Memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and
belief, and that they Signed the Same as witnesses, at his
request, in his presence and in the presence of each other.

Greene County S.S. In the Matter of the Estate of Caleb
Bosworth, late of Alleppo Township, Greene County, Pa.,
dec'd. as to the death see afficavit of William Bosworth,
died on the 4th day of March A.D. 1879 See affidavit filed
with will. Same day letters testamentary Granted to George
and William Bosworth as named in the will. Registered this
10th day of .... 1879. J. L. Yoders, Register Inventory and
Sale List filed April 7th 1879
