Assignment of Legacy
Elmira M. Daugherty et al to Joseph W. Tate,
Dated: Mar. 26, 1887
Know all men by these resents that we.. Elmira M.. William F. Feurek F.
Daugherty and Robie his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven
hundred and sixty three dollars to us in hand, paid Joseph W. Tate of Bedford,
Pennsylvania, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted,
bargained and sold, and set over unto the said Joseph W. Tate, his heirs and
assigns, the legacy of Rebecca Stone Beegle and Daniel Beegle her husband, in
the estate of John Stone, deceased, in O.C.D. No. 18, page 350, Will more fully
appear, assigned and granted unto the said E.M.W.T. and Frank F. Daugherty.
Together all and singular our rights, interests there unto belonging, revisions,
remainders and profits thereof. To have and to hold the said legacy hereby
granted and assigned unto the said Joseph W Tate, his heirs and assigns forever.
In Witness Whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their
hands and seals this 26th day of March, All 1887

Before me, the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in said County. personally
appeared Elmira M. and Feurek F. Daugherty and Robie his wife who in due form of
law, acknowledged the above assignment to be their act and deed.
The said Robie J., being of full age and by examination separate and apart from
her said husband, the contents of the foregoing being made known to her, did
voluntarily and free will sign and seal as her act and did deliver the same,
Without concern or confusion of her said husband.
Witness my hand and seal this day of Feb. AD. 1887.

Pennsylvania, residing in the City of Philadeiphia, personally this second day

and execute the same, and did acknowledge the same to be his act and deed and
desired that the same might be recorded as such.
