I THOMAS KINTON of the Borrough and County of Bedford in the State of
Pennsylvania being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind, memory and
understanding, make this my last Will and Testament.
First I direct that my Executor hereafter named shall pay all must debts that
may be against me at the time of my death, together with my funeral expenses
and out of the money payable by Robert Kurtz to me on the first of April next
and to repair the fence of my sister ELIZABETH KINTONS Lot where she
resides. It is my Will and I do hereby order and direct that my Executor pay
out of the money that will be due to me from Robert Kurtz on the 1st of
April 1852 the [?] rents now entered upon the Docket of the Court of Common
Pleas of Bedford County against my said sister ELIZABETH KINTON.
I Will and bequeath to my sister ELIZABETH all my wheat now in
Saltersons Mill and all my share of the crop now in the ground on the farm I
sold to Robert Kurtz and all my moveable property (of household furniture, she
may desire to keep). I will and bequeath to my sister ELIZABETH the
interest of all my money arising from my personal Estate and the payments from
Robert Kurtz on the land I sold him after paying as above specified during
her natural lifetime to be paid to her annually by my Executor for her
maintenance and support and if that shouldnt be sufficient to afford her a
comfortable support, then she is to have of the principal sufficient to
support her comfortably.
If any of my property remains after my said sister has selected such as she
may want, I desire that the same be sold by my Executor.
After the death of my sister ELIZABETH I will and bequeath to my nephew
ALLEN KINTON and SIMON KINTON, sons of my brother JAMES, and
JAMES SHANNON MULLIN, son of my sister MARTHA each two hundred dollars
to them their heirs and assigns all the rest and residue of my Estate I will
and bequeath to my sister MARTHAS two daughters MAY ELIZABETH and SARAH
ELLEN MULLIN.
Should the deed to Robert Kurtz not be made by myself, I hereby authorize and
direct my Executor to make, execute and deliver the same upon his securing the
money unpaid.
I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my trusty friend Hon. Wm. F.
Flaughery Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and
declaring null and void all wills heretofore made by me declaring this and
none other to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness I have hereto set my hand and seal the 18th day of March A.D. 1852.

Personally appeared before the subscriber Register for the Probate of Wills of
in and for said County Job. Mann and Doctor En D. Cull the subscribing witness
to the foregoing instrument of writing and being duly sworn according to Law
do depose and say that they were personally present and saw the said THOMAS
KINTON sign the same and heard him publish, pronounce and declare the
foregoing Instrument of writing as and for his last Will and Testament. That
at the time thereof the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind, memory
and understanding according to the best of their knowledge and belief and that
they subscribed thereto as witness in his presence and at his request.
