Guardianship
James Fink Estate
To the Honorable Judges of the Orphans Court of Bedford County
The petition of Solomon Jerome Fink a son of James Fink, Esq. late of
Hopewell Township, Bedford County decease, respectfully represents, That the
said James Fink Esq. died about the 10th day of March 1872 intestate seized in
his demise ??ad of fee, of and in certain messages and trust of land situated in
Hopewell Township, described as follows to wit
No 1 being the mansion tract adjoining lands of Henry Clapper, (Wood Murrell & C
George)?? Steel and containing one and seventeen more or less with appurtances.
No. 2 Being a tract of land known as the Kay property adjoining lands of Henry
Clapper, Benjamine Hall and (Martin Speilman and containing seventy two acres --

No. 3. Being a tract of land known as the Fluke property adjoining lands of
Stephens Weimer, Wood Morrell & Co, William Gorsuch and others containing two
hundred and forty acres more or less, with the appurtenances.
No. 4 Being a tract of woodland and known as the Davis land adjoining lands of
the Alexander Davis, Wood Murrell & Co and others containing fifty acres more or
less. And leaving t------------?him a widow SUSAN FINK, ten children by' John
William Fink, Soloman Jerome your petitioner, LYDIA wife of LEVI Fluke, ISABELLE
DAVIS wife of WILLIAM S.DAVIS, JACOB WESLEY FINK, WHO HAS FOR HIS GUARDIAN
VALENTINE FINK, MARY CATHERINE who has for guardian JOHN B. FLUKE, SARAH
ELIZABETH,SAMUEL B. FINK, JAMES MARTIN who have for their guardian JOHN WILLIAM
FINK, HENRY DAVID FINK who has for his guardian JOHN B. FLUKE all residing in
Bedford County. The------ ---- by virtue of the intestate laws of this
commonwealth it belongs to the said SUSAN FINK to have ---- --- --- paid real
estate during the time of her life and to the children aforementioned each it
belongs to have one equal tenth part of the remaining two -------of the said
real estate in fee. No partition of said real estate having been had, the
petitioner prays the court to award an inquest to make partition of the real
estate to and as many the aforesaid parties according to their respective
rights. And he will -----
