HENRIETTA (HETTIE) M. MEEK 

  Henrietta (Hettie) M. Meek, 89, of 2000 Hoffman Valley Rd, 
Stormstown, PA, passed away October 20, 2003 at Centre Community 
Hospital, State College, PA.
  She was born January 31, 1914. Her parents were the late Ethel Dunlap 
and Carl McKelvey.
  She was married March 31, 1934 to D. Lee Meek, who died January 9, 
1973.
  Surviving are: daughter, Azelda and Ken Confer of Stormstown; four 
grandchildren, Ken Jr., Cindy Gawryla and Heather Higgins, all of 
Stormstown and Rodney of Hughesville; nine great grandchildren; one 
great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Dorothy Rigel of Warriors 
Mark, Edith Kolena of State College and Ethel Zedrick of Snow Shoe; one 
aunt, Peg Nordberg and sister-in-law Miriam Shawley.
  She was raised in Stormstown by her grandmother and step-grandfather, 
Edith and Emory McAfee, preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma L., and 
a sister, Margaret Howe.
  She had worked in the food service for State College School District 
and retired in 1979.
  Funeral arrangements are scheduled for October 23, 2003 at 11 a.m. at 
the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Reverend Warren G. 
Somers officiating. Interment will be at Grays Cemetery in Halfmoon 
Township.
  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 and on Thursday from 
10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's 
choice.
